Hello All,

For tomorrow’s class you will be working independently, and you will begin preliminary work for the Interview Assignment. I will be available on Zoom during our regular class session. I recommend you establish contact with your Interview Group Partner during the class hour, and if you have any issues, please pop into the Zoom session or email me to let me know how it’s going.

Please read the following:

Interview Tips (Good sample questions and good tips for organizing your information)

Topics/Interview Types (In particular the first section which deals with types of interview and types of questions)

Interview Presentation (Optional, this includes simplified interview tips)

To find your interview partner, click on the Groups Section in the BB sidebar. Click on the Group number, to reveal a list of options. You will be able to create a discussion, create a BB Collaborate meeting in the “Meeting Room,” or send each other emails. Between September 2nd and September 9th, I would like to you read your partner’s introduction on BB, write 12 follow up questions, send them by email. Practice creating your own BB Collaborate Session. You do not have to submit any parts of your Interview Assignment yet, but please make a start.

Please remember to respond to at least one peer’s draft on the Resume/Cover Letter Discussion Board by the end of Wednesday September 2nd at 11:59 p.m. You will have until 09/09 at 11:59 p.m. to complete your Final Draft. I will be sending feedback tomorrow.

The Zoom link is in the Blackboard Announcement for anyone who wishes to pop in between 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. You will be free to come and go as you please.
